I made my very own Christmas Mesh Wreath. It was super easy to make!! I love how the Mesh Wreaths are so full and fluffy. But they are quite pricy, so I decided to take matters into my own lil crafty self. And voilà…my Very 1st Mesh Wreath. I will definitely make more!! I love crafts, and I love saving money. So it’s a win win. Plus making the Wreath was really easy and I decorated it the way I wanted, so that was fun fun!! I got all materials from Walmart and from Michaels Craft Store. Michaels has a 70% off sale on the ribbons & Mesh, so I bought enough for 10 more wreaths. Lol. I can’t wait to make more for every occasion!!
The Mesh and Ribbons. I added extra for a more full look.
Final look with Decorations added
My daughters 1/2 bath needed a makeover, but I don’t really have the money to hire a professional to do it. So I figured out what I could to make it look good with the least amount of money possible. I had leftover black paint, white Kiltz primer, and leftover blue painters tape. All I had to purchase was the rugs, pictures and accessories. So this makeover Costed me less than $100 and I am very satisfied with the outcome.
Pre-Makeover is girly pink with girly pictures and accessories.
Next Step is to prime the walls. I admit, I tried to paint over the pink thinking the dark paint would cover it. (You can kinda see on the right side of the wall). Well, it didn’t work out that way. So I got my leftover White Kitlz Primer paint and primed all the pink. Bye Bye pink, we will miss you…lol
Primer is dry, so now Black paint, here we go!!! After realizing how messy and how hard it is to have your hand completely still, I taped up every possible place I could. Painting is a hard job. I applaud professional painters out there. So I painted the 1st coat and I could tell it would need at least 2 more coats.
Please excuse my photo bomb in the mirror… but I was really impressed with myself on the way it was looking. And excited to finish and see my lil DIY project.
Final coat with new accessories and a flower/stick arrangement, made by me. I love this bathroom!! It looks up to date and no longer a young girl’s bathroom. I am very happy with the results!!!!!
Remodeling your bathroom from time to time is a necessity in order not to feel that it is boring. It is widely believed that remodeling any room at your home is tiring and requires spending a lot of money whether it is on the furniture or the decorative items that are used, but in fact this is not true as there are several ways from which you can make use to renew your bathroom without costing yourself a lot of money. Remodeling your bathroom does not mean that you have to change tiles, toilet, sinks, faucets and more items that may cost you a lot of money. If your budget does not allow you to change the main items in your bathroom, you can resort to changing the minor items that do not cost a lot of money such as bathroom rugs. Although the bathroom rugs are used on the floor and do not consume a large space in the bathroom, they play a major role in increasing the elegance of your bathroom and making it catchier. – See more at: http://www.pouted.com/48-fabulous-magnificent-bathroom-rug-designs-2015/#.dpuf
